Given the assignment to turn the country Canada, I saw opportunity in turning it into a social media app that promotes togetherness. One that promotes conversation with one another, fosters community, and invites connection. Through this lens, Maple was born. Encompassing all the things that people typically think of when they think of Canada, Maple stands as a pillar of change, diversity, and hope. The tagline “Nothing to be sorry for” also invites being unapologetically true to yourself and your values, much like one does on other social media platforms. Expressing yourself couldn’t be easier (if it existed).
